Japan is a test-bed for zany snack and drink products- almost everything on a convenience store’s shelves rotates out for something newer and weirder on an almost monthly cycle.

They like to flip the script. It’s almost a cliche that the second a conveni starts stocking something you really love, they’ll snatch it away again and replace it with something junk. But suck it up, people. Who else in the world gets to sample Pepsi Yoghurt first, or enjoy the hundreds of Kit Kat flavors some marketing wonk dreamt up in a mad fever?
