It's weird and fairy-tale-ish and keeps on being surprising (in a good way!) all the way through. There's no real moral or conclusion to the story, but that's not a problem at all - and since evil has been averted and various people have been saved, the reader is left with a good feeling. Plus, of course, there is a conclusion to the tale of Tarragon and Alegria, and however and whyever it all happened, they're both happy and dancing - and that's really more important in this fictional universe than the whys and wherefores. :-) Thanks for sharing!
