I wrote it years ago now, it has actually been published on a webzine- they paid me $50!- but that was years ago too, and that magazine went under a while ago. When I was editing it to post it turned my stomach. And bleak! Certainly no light spot in it. It's interesting you picked up on the moon- I noticed that too. I guess that piece laid the foundation for Leanna. It also, I now notice, laid the foundation for another story where a guy is stranded at sea. In the other story there's no necrophagy though, you'll be pleased to hear ;) Mike- I don't blame you to not read it through, it's pretty graphic.
